Your information

Privacy

This policy explains how Stillroom handles personal information when you visit this website, send an enquiry, email us or book a conversation. You can contact Adam at [email protected] with questions about this policy or your information.

Information we collect and why

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, business or type of work, and the task you would like help with. Details of the tools you use are optional. We collect these details directly from you to understand your request, reply, arrange a conversation and discuss relevant help. If you contact us by email or make a booking, we also receive the information you choose to include and the details needed to manage that correspondence or appointment.

Sending an enquiry is not a marketing opt-in. It does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Please keep enquiries general: don’t include passwords, customer details or sensitive business information. Without the required contact and enquiry details, we may not be able to respond through the form. You can use email or the booking link instead.

How enquiries are sent and stored

The form sends your answers to Stillroom’s server on Cloudflare Pages. The server validates a Cloudflare Turnstile security check before sending the allowed enquiry fields to Resend for email delivery. Resend processes your enquiry details and the delivery information needed to send your message to Stillroom. Your email address is used as the reply-to address. See Resend’s privacy policy.

Google Workspace, including Gmail, is used to receive, store and reply to email. The email services involved process the submission and delivery information. See Google’s privacy policy. Earlier enquiries handled through FormSubmit may remain in the services used at the time; see FormSubmit’s privacy policy.

For enquiry notifications, limited email metadata is sent to Adam through Telegram to help flag new mail, including messages that land in spam. Telegram processes those notifications under its privacy policy.

The website does not save a draft of your answers in browser storage or maintain an enquiry database. Unsent answers may be lost when you leave or reload the page. Submitted enquiries and subsequent correspondence are held in the services used to handle them.

Hosting and security checks

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes connection information to serve and protect it. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals, such as IP address and browser or device information, to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. The server checks the resulting token before forwarding an enquiry. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Turnstile’s privacy policy.

The website’s email delivery credential stays on the server; it is not exposed to visitors. This protects the website’s submission route, but does not guarantee spam prevention. The previous public FormSubmit endpoint is no longer used by this form; its deactivation has not been confirmed.

We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts to this website. Fonts are served with the site. Third-party services handle their own technical data and any cookies or similar technologies under their policies; this policy does not replace those policies.

Booking a conversation

The booking link opens Cal.com, where you provide the details needed to arrange a conversation. Cal.com processes booking information to manage availability, appointments and invitations. See Cal.com’s privacy policy. If you add an appointment to your own calendar, your calendar provider also handles those details under its privacy policy.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use the providers described above to host the website, protect the form, deliver and manage email, notify Adam and arrange bookings. They may process or store information overseas, including outside Australia. Locations and handling depend on each provider’s services and policies. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to address a legal or security issue.

Keeping information and security

We consider how long information is needed to manage your enquiry, any ongoing work and relevant business or legal obligations when deciding on retention. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Provider retention practices, backups and lawful record-keeping requirements may also affect when information can be removed.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No website, email service or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Please use the contact address below if you believe information has been sent in error or there is a security concern.

Your choices, requests and concerns

You can ask for access to your personal information, a correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. Explain what you would like us to check or change. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. Requests are considered subject to applicable law and any lawful retention requirements; if we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why.

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact Adam using the same address with enough detail for us to investigate. We will review the concern and respond to you. You can also consult the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s privacy guidance for information about privacy rights and complaint options.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version will be available on this page. Please check it before sharing information if you would like to understand the current arrangements.
